This Privacy Policy explains how Nodeloc LLC handles information in connection with its corporate website. We have organized it around what we receive, why we use it, how it may be shared and the choices available to you.

1. Scope and responsibility

Nodeloc LLC ("Nodeloc," "we," "us" or "our") operates this corporate website (the "Website") and is responsible for the information handling described here. Contact details are in section 14.

This policy covers browsing this Website, sending a company contact message and related correspondence. It does not replace the separate privacy notices for NodeLoc, Smailr, Yunamo, Nodepend, WorPar, Modeloc, KissOpen or other products and external services. Visit the relevant product's website for information about its accounts, content, billing, AI features or other processing.

You do not need a public user account to browse this Website. This Website does not provide a public discussion feed or a payment checkout.

2. Information you provide

When you use our contact form, we receive the name and email address you enter, the selected topic and your message. We record the time of submission and an internal handling status so we can manage the enquiry. A message may include other information you choose to provide, such as a product name, public URL, partnership proposal or details about an issue.

If you email, telephone or otherwise correspond with us, we receive the information you choose to share through that channel, including contact details and relevant business or work materials. Do not send more personal information than is needed for your enquiry. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, sensitive identity documents or unrelated information about other people through the general contact form.

The form also uses a hidden anti-spam field. A submission identified as automated spam may be rejected without being added to our contact inbox. Contact messages are not displayed publicly on the Website.

3. Technical and security information

Delivering a web page involves processing connection information, including the network address received with a request and the requested resource. Our application uses short-lived in-memory request counters to limit repeated contact submissions and administrative sign-in attempts. These counters support abuse prevention; they are not advertising profiles.

Our systems and the providers involved in operating the Website may process technical and diagnostic information, such as request information and error records, to deliver pages, troubleshoot failures and maintain security. The contact-message database does not add a visitor IP-address field to the name, email address, topic and message supplied through the form.

4. Cookies and local storage

Theme preference: if you choose Light or Dark, the Website stores a value called "nodeloc-theme" in your browser's local storage. This value remembers the appearance on that browser; it is not a unique visitor identifier and is not sent with contact-form submissions. Selecting System removes the saved manual preference and follows your device setting. Browser storage controls can also remove the preference.

Administrative session: authorized administrators who sign in receive a first-party cookie called "nodeloc_session". It is used to authenticate access to the administration area, is configured to expire after eight hours and is invalidated when the administrator signs out. Blocking this cookie prevents administrative sign-in from working; it is not required to read public pages.

The current corporate Website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party audience analytics. Fonts and the partner logos shown on this Website are served by this Website rather than loaded from those companies' websites. Displaying a partner logo does not itself send your contact message to that company. Clicking a link can take you to a separate website, where its own practices apply.

5. Why we use information

We use information to respond to company enquiries, assess proposals or work-related introductions, investigate abuse or technical issues, provide appropriate follow-up, operate and secure the Website, maintain relevant correspondence and meet applicable legal obligations.

We do not treat a contact-form submission as a request to join a marketing mailing list. The Website does not automatically publish your message, make it available to other visitors or send it to an AI model provider.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, the basis depends on the activity: handling a request you initiate or taking steps at your request before an agreement; our legitimate interests in communicating with people, operating the business and securing the Website; compliance with legal obligations; or consent where it is required and obtained. You can contact us to ask about the basis relevant to your enquiry.

6. When information may be shared

Access is limited to people who need information to handle the relevant work. Information may also be processed by service providers supporting functions such as website hosting, database operations, email, technical support and security, as needed for those functions. We do not provide your contact message to a company merely because its logo appears on the Website.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law or valid legal process, or where reasonably necessary and permitted by law to investigate abuse, protect rights, address fraud or protect people and systems. We may also disclose information at your direction, with your permission, or in connection with a merger, restructuring or transfer of relevant business operations, subject to applicable requirements and appropriate notice where required.

7. Sale, advertising and third-party links

We do not sell personal information collected through this corporate Website or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The current Website does not use an advertising or behavioral-tracking system.

Our product and partner links lead to separate websites. A destination website may receive connection information when you visit it, and information you submit there is subject to its own notices. An email or telephone link opens the application or service you choose; that service may process information under its own terms.

8. Retention

Contact enquiries do not expire automatically in the current company inbox. They remain there until manually removed. You can ask us to delete information relating to your enquiry by contacting [email protected]. We assess such requests in light of the purpose of the correspondence, any continuing need for follow-up, applicable legal requirements and the protection of legal rights.

Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or address a dispute. Copies in backups or diagnostic records may persist separately until those records are replaced or removed through the relevant operational process. An expired administrative session no longer authorizes access; expired session records may remain until a later cleanup. Your local theme preference remains on your browser until you remove it, select System or clear the relevant browser data.

9. International handling

Nodeloc's company contact address is in the United States. Information may be handled where Nodeloc and the providers supporting the relevant communication or Website operation are located, which may differ from your country of residence. This address does not mean that all Website data is hosted at that address or in that country.

Contact us if you need information about where a particular enquiry is processed or the safeguards relevant to a transfer. Applicable privacy protections and transfer requirements depend on the information, location and circumstances involved.

10. Security

We use access controls and other technical measures designed to protect information and restrict administrative access. No website, network connection or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid sending secrets or unnecessary sensitive information, and contact us if you believe information connected with this Website has been compromised.

11. Your choices and requests

You can browse without using the contact form, choose what to include in a message, clear browser storage or select System to remove the saved theme preference. Administrators can sign out to invalidate their session.

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have rights to access or receive a copy of personal information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive certain data in a portable format, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to an appropriate privacy authority. These rights may be subject to exceptions and verification requirements. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

Send requests to [email protected], identifying the Website and the enquiry concerned. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify the request and locate the relevant record. Do not send a password or identity document unless we have first explained why a particular verification step is necessary and how to provide it. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law. For information held in a separate product account, start with that product's privacy and support channels.

12. Children

This corporate Website is intended for a general audience interested in company and product information and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the company contact form. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and address it. Individual products may have different age requirements set out in their own terms.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Website functions, information practices or relevant requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent for changes where required by applicable law. New tracking, advertising or product-processing practices are not covered merely by referring to this policy; the relevant notice must accurately explain them.
